The Gigawatt Company is a family-owned geothermal development firm with a comprehensive vision for the energy transition. Since our begginings in 2011, we have been committed to the principle that sustainable energy is foundational to societal progress.

Our strength lies in our collaboration with a global network of leading companies and our in-house team of multidisciplinary experts, including electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineers, business administrators, simulators, Python & CAD specialists, and legal / regulation professionals.

We specialize in two innovative renewable energy fields: Waste-to-Energy (utilizing municipal solid waste) and Non-Traditional Geothermal. Our geothermal expertise focuses on advanced Molten Salt heat extraction systems combined with Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology from American Geopower a company based in California. This powerful combination allows us to generate clean electricity from diverse heat sources, including volcanic activity, hot springs, industrial waste heat, and more, harnessing the Earth's energy to power a cleaner future.
Our History
The foundation of our company was inspired by a breakthrough in renewable energy technology. In 2011, Texas-based Power Tube led by scientist Dr. Doyle Brewington demonstrated remarkable innovation with their geomagmatic technology, planting the seed for our own mission.
Initially, we focused on applying technology to solve urgent environmental problems, launching municipal solid waste projects to combat contamination in landfills, rivers, and oceans—exemplified by our efforts in Guatemala's Motagua River.
This work revealed a larger opportunity. A perfect storm of rising energy demand, new international laws, infrastructure tenders, and grid updates began attracting major capital and developers into the field. Seeing this convergence, we evolved into a developer of high-tech energy solutions, connecting cutting-edge technology with the financial and institutional partners needed to scale impact. We are now active participants in this global energy transition, leveraging advanced technology to meet the needs of growing societies.

At The Gigawatt Company, everything we do is motivated by the specific goal of collaborating directly or indirectly in the generation of 1 gigawatt of renewable energy in the region, our mission is centered in the name of the company, over a period of 20 years, our objective of providing the best high enthalpy geothermal engineering services for all energy consumption clients to mention local and international tender needs, Data Centers, Green Ammonia & Hydrogen, as fertilizers & green fuel economy. This means acting with social and environmental responsibility and integrity is imperative for such objectives. It also implies generating high-quality results that are long-lasting and sustainable in green economy future, today.
